Modifications:
- Added 2 unique projectiles with custom visuals and movement (rockets move with exponential speed, heat seekers move in direction of closest enemy)
- Simplified the controls to just the mouse (move mouse to move and click to shoot)
- Added many visual and audio effects and a parallax background
- Adjusted many scripts controlling enemy movement, shooting, and spawning
- Created a full level complete with a boss fight (the three weapon choices lead to the same level with different music)
- Modified the menus and added collision to the starting menu for some reason (try clicking the screen in the menu you came from)
- Added an extra life powerup (it looks like a bubble in-game)
- Fixed a few bugs that came with the tutorial package (UI not updating, projectiles not destroying leading to performance issues)
Known Bugs:
The cursor sometimes disappears when pausing. It should only disappear when not on a UI page. Use the arrow keys and enter button if this happens.
Note:
A screenshot of the boss was excluded to make it a surprise. The boss just creates a bullet hell where you have to shoot and move to survive long enough for it to die. The boss gets more challenging as you decrease its health.
