Escape from the Planet of the Bugs
This is my final 3D FPS project, Escape from the Planet of the Bugs.
Here are my actual modifications:
1. Added a large, comprehensive level (Level 3) and modified the first two levels.
2. Added the sprint and crouch movement options, along with a triple jump (see instructions for key bindings).
3. Modified how each of the three guns works. The explosions from the "Energy Bazooka" are now much more powerful (less so on bosses) and satisfying to land on groups of enemies.
4. Changed enemy drop rates. Health and Energy Bazooka ammo are now much rarer (20% and 10% chance, respectively).
5. Added many events that trigger when spawners are destroyed or bosses are killed (i.e. the optional boss on Level 3 is triggered by destroying a lone spawner in a small outdoors arena, and destroying the spawner will also lock the player in the arena until they kill the boss, and killing the boss will spawn valuable Energy Bazooka ammo).
6. Adjusted enemy hitboxes, health and move speeds.
7. Added an instructions page on the MainMenu scene.
Known Bugs:
Players can hold W and spam jump to climb up the plateau in Level 3 to skip the level entirely.
Activating the optional boss fight after triggering the rush to the first room sequence will cause the music to overlap until the player finishes the rush sequence.
The self-destruct enemies sometimes do not deal damage.
The message text at the top may overlap with the health bars in the GUI.
Notes:
Tested on Windows only, with a medium-end and a high-end PC.

Created by Adam Kasumovic with assets from MSU and music from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I do not plan on distributing this game.
